The Ministerial Association of Shawnee, Oklahoma

The Shawnee Ministerial Association is an ecumenical group of ministers and churches working together on a community level to encourage cooperation and fellowship in the body of Christ.

The objectives of the Association are as follows:

• Foster communication among churches
  

• Enable cooperative community ministries
  

• Provide leadership in faith and spiritual matters for the community
  

• Provide mutual support and encouragement for ministers
  

Programs and activities include the following:

• Monthly meetings, 1st Wednesday, 8:00 AM
  

• Clergy fellowship opportunities
  

• "Minister's Corner" for the Shawnee News-Star
  

• Leading prayer for meetings of the Shawnee City Commission (see * below)
  

• Leading prayer for meetings of the Shawnee School Board
  

• Chaplains ministry
  

• Jail ministry
  

• Annual Spring Worship Event
  

• Assist in National Day of Prayer observance
  

• Shawnee High School Baccalaureate
  

• Annual Fall Clergy and Spouse Dinner
